Everyone knows about the hot dog-shaped Oscar Mayer Weinermobile and is unmistakably the most popular promotional vehicles of all time. More than that, they’ve even came up with the mini-based WeinerMini, along with another smaller one called the WeinerRover. Now, in order to take a step further in their promotional activities, Oscar Mayer is introducing the WeinerDrone.
Reportedly “designed for remote location deliver”, the remote-controlled quadcopter is able to carry a single hot dog in a cargo net in its undercarriage, then deliver to its customers by releasing and dropping it down.
The drone measures 24 inches long and 15 inches wide (610 x 381 mm) and can reach a maximum altitude of 1,200 feet (366 m), ascending at a rate of 13 feet (4m) per second. It has a maximum flight time of 15 minutes when carrying a hot dog, or 20 minutes of unloaded.
